I was going to start another bout of ex150ish today.
Last night I ate the last of the carbs and fruit, and fished the potatoes out of my stew and ate them too. I still don't have much of an appetite, but I did have a bit of stew and liked the taste of it very much. I was feeling pretty lively.
Then went out drinking and stayed up until 0200. I didn't drink much, but I didn't sleep too well. I woke up at the usual time, feeling a bit under the weather, stayed awake for a couple of hours and then went back to bed.
A bit later I woke up a second time, feeling shattered and groggy, and I found myself thinking over and over again how much I would like to go to the Picturehouse and get the pizza that I hadn't had yesterday (because I couldn't face it).
I'd describe this as a full scale craving, like a smoker who's trying to stop, and keeps thinking about the cigarette shop round the corner.
But as far as I can tell, it wasn't a calorie craving per se. I ate a bit of stew. It tasted really nice, but it wasn't what I wanted. I ate a bit of cream. The same.
After a bit of this I thought: "No willpower means no willpower". It's not just about calories. If you want a pizza that badly, that's probably a sign that you need something in it.
At around three o'clock I cycled groggily into town. When I got there I realized that I'd forgotten my laptop. So I cycled groggily back for it. Can’t go for a pizza without a laptop.
Back home I somehow fucked up the process of getting the computer and got mud all over the carpets, which I decided I was too groggy to do anything about and would fix later. And then I cycled back to the Picturehouse again. By the time I got there I was overheated and sweating, and still feeling like a zombie.
1510 got pizza in Picturehouse, wolfed it by 1516. My God that hit the spot. I ate it so fast I’ve burned my mouth. Weirdly it was the pepperoni and the tomato sauce that tasted so so good. The carbohydrate base didn't seem that special...

1550 still a bit groggy, but better. Remembered to put computer glasses on, which helps a lot, clear vision makes me feel less groggy.
1600 seemingly fine, still a bit of an ache in the legs?

The pizza or possibly the two cups of coffee I had with it seem to have fixed something. I'm quite mentally alert now, but the leg ache is worrying. That's a thyroid symptom usually. Maybe I've dropped my dose too low...
Hm I'd say you were craving protein, but then why wouldn't you eat/crave the meat in your stew but eschew it specifically for potatoes?
Slime Mold Time Mold think it might be potassium, which potatoes and tomatoes are pretty high in.
