Pretty much the minute I got back to Cambridge I got COVID, so I don't know what to read into the fact that I seem to have dropped a good kilo over the week.
I've had no appetite at all, all I've been eating is occasional bits of blue-cheese-on-toast.
That might be rebound from maternal overfeeding, it might be 'mysteriously gone back into mysterious weight-loss state', or it might be lack of appetite from COVID.
I've also been feeling a bit lethargic and sad. The actual COVID was nothing serious, a couple of days of fever and lethargy, but I suspect it's taken most of the week to heal the damage.
I was going to do another bout of ex150ish, but in these sorts of situations, I always like to ask "What Would Otto von Bismarck Do?". And my inner Bismarck says to dither, until the situation is clearer.
100% agree, I actually recommend people overeat, especially protein, when sick.
1. Your appetite is blunted
2. You need more material for repairs
Not worth it to risk prolonging an infection.
