In Science, it’s not true if it’s not replicated.
With this as my sole motivation, I wearily dragged myself back to the Arts Picturehouse in Cambridge, home of the best pizza to be found in the City (at very reasonable prices with a 20% discount to members), where also is available excellent coffee (free to members during the day), and a reliable fast WiFi connection, together with a lovely setting and the friendliest imaginable staff, amongst whom the maidens are the fairest in all Anglia, where a man can find all that is best in cinema (cheap and also heavily discounted to members), conveniently located just over the big Wetherspoons in the middle of town.
And here are the results, torn with such effort from the deepest bowels of reality, and this time using precise ten-minute intervals, as timed by my beloved high-precision Nokia 1110 mobile cellular telephone, one of the great miracles of Victorian engineering.
16:00 Feeling fine, not really that hungry, but pizza sounds nice.
16:10 Pepperoni Pizza arrives, starving hungry as soon as I see/smell it. Wolf!! Delicious!! Best pizza ever.
16:20 OMG Pizza. Eating passionately.
16:30 Bounce! Sad that pizza is gone.
16:40 Bounce! Wouldn’t eat another one if it was free. Not full, but not hungry any more.
16:50 Clarity. Exceptional mental clarity.
17:00 Clarity…
17:10 Clarity…
17:20 Clarity…
17:30 Clarity…
Experiment ends. Carbs aren’t making me feel tired any more.
At least in pizza form, they give me a noticeable burst of energy.
